How to use MyWorkBelt

EASY WAY TO CREATE EMPLOYEES UNDER WORK

MyWorkBelt as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) has a wide variety of functions that assist with workforce management. One of which is creating employees who make up the workforce of your organization. Withing MyWorkBelt, you can create over 100 employees with unique login details and other necessary information including home addresses, personal information, wages, and other similar details.

To begin using this feature, navigate to the homepage and click on the “Workforce” tab; this is where you can access all the details related to employee management.

CREATING AN EMPLOYEE’S USERNAME AND PASSWORD

Every employee created on MyWorkBelt is assigned a username and password which grants them access to the software. To create an employee, simply click on the “dd” button which opens the page and prompts you to input further details. Basic employee information such as first name, last name, username, and password are required in order to save the profile. Other details, as shown within the screenshot below, can also be recorded within the profile and once submitted, the employee profile is then ready to use.

ADDING EMPLOYEE INFORMATION

Once the basic details of the employee profile have been created, you can begin adding other details about the employee to enrich the profile for proper workforce management.

  • “Scheduling” allows you to add the regular working days and working hours of the employee by toggling the yes or no button on each of the days of the week. If an employee is issued a vehicle, the ID can be noted within this section and along with the default department of the employee.
  • The “Address and Phone” section is where you can input the telephone number, email, detailed address, and other contact details such as pager number, emergency contact, and GPS device ID (if issued with one).
  • The “Personal Info” section allows you to provide personal information such as date of birth, driver’s license number and expiration date, marriage date, and spouse details.
  • ‘“Training” is the section where you manage an employee’s skill development by tracking the necessary required training they need to complete as well as their completed training.
  • The “Age Info” section is where you add one of the most important employees details their rate or wage. You can choose the payment type applicable to your organization including hourly, task-based, and salary variables along with bonuses as well. In this section, you can input the pay period such as daily, bi-weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Other important details like the hire hourly rate, the cost to the company, and hourly rate are also inputted.
  • “Work History” is where you record the date employee was hired and when he/she left (if applicable).
  • The “Qualification and Skill” section is another key area that allows you to record the employee’s qualifications and individual skills.
  • The “Employee Vacation” section serves as the area where you can track employee time off.
  • “Crew” section is another section that makes MyWorkBelt unique. In this section you can add an employee to a crew, which makes a team for completing a certain task. Creating a crew makes it much easier to create a quote since you can easily select a crew for a certain project instead of selecting employees individually.

EDITING EMPLOYEE DETAILS

After creating an employee within the software, there may be a need to update previously logged information. MyWorkBelt allows for easy editing, so you can manage your data and make changes when necessary.

Starting from the “Employee” section under the “Workforce” tab, you can view the list of already existing employees. Along with your list of employees, you will have a search option displayed in the top left of the screen which will allow you to search for an employee using their names. In this section, you can also edit any of the employee details and it will take effect immediately.

MyWorkBelt offers a great opportunity to manage all employee details from one platform. More advanced features will come with future updates.
